cant go past the legian beach hotel a bit quieter than the kuta side but close to everything eithr walking or taxi, i personally dont know of any sleazy sex bars/hotels in bali and have been a number of times. legian beach rooms start at $65.aus a night.
have a beer on sunset with the beach boys and kick back and relax they will treat you like a long lost friend in no time, dont forget to get a massage from the girls there ask for number one she is older and very experienced. just been and had a ball
