I Remember on many occasions (in the 90's) meeting people at Bali Airport who had Boarded Flights two days before in Bali and after flying to Jakarta then connecting to Singapore and then landing back in Bali very frustrated only to hear that they must again go back to Singapore to fly on to Aussie or europe or somewhere. This was all Garuda before they took on Bali as a Hub. The pasengers were there last worry in all of this. They were constantly trying to fill up Flights for which they had booked but never had enough Planes to do it. They were always safe that is not the problem but Flying around and speaking to Staff that didn't know themselves what was going on. they just kept reshuffeling planes and people until on most occasions ended up running up there own Trouser legs. It Seems that Garuda as a Company are Surley moving Backwards at the momement with the Goverment not any more Ready to keep bailing them out of debt.
