First Time In Bali

Hi all, im a 24 year old lad from England and am going to Bali for the first time at the end of OCT. Can anyone give me any advice on where to stay. Im travelling alone so I need to find a busier area, also, if anyone has any tips in general they would be much appreciated, Cheers, Dan.
