DAY TEN
The Dusun
Headed back south today for the last few days to pick up goodies we had ordered and also to be nearer to the airport for departure date.
Unfortunately Sienna Villas were fully booked out for a wedding party, so we returned back to the Dusun for our third visit. This is a very tranquil and lovely villa complex, with lovely staff and complimentary driver, which comes in very handy to take you one-way to shops, dinner etc.
Settled back into the one-bedroom Dusun, which was absolutely lovely, but much smaller than either ABN or Sienna Villas.
La Sequenza
On a tip from the forum we ventured out for dinner at La Sequenze - what a find.
Is on Jalan Laksmana, past Mykonos towards the beach end of the road and not as far as Paul's Place. The food was sensational and cost about $30 for 2 courses and drinks. We had complentary nibbles to start with, very tasty and then onto the garlic snails in mushrooms, salmon and tuna tartare and the mains were steak and duck fettuccine.....absolutely delicious.
Only two tables occupied, so do yourself a favour and venture a bit further along Eat St and discover this excellent little eatery. The waitresses were lovely and we enjoyed a night out chatting to them and enjoying some very tasty food. Sorry, we didn't get to the deserts menu, but I'm sure it would have been good too.
Metro Sports Bar
Jalan Laksmana
We usually make a few trips here during our stay in Seminyak and so a few games of pool and a nightcap and we returned to the Dusun for some well-earned sleep on a very full tummy.
One thing about the Metro, they serve up the coldest beer in the area! Coupled with the coldie holders, if in need of an icy cold beer, then venture here and your thirst will be quenched.
