They had some bamboo and matting products to use on the floor.
I recall seeing some very light-weight floor coverings, that are stitched along the edge. The guy didn't speak English, so Made, our driver helped to describe exactly what we were after and we also had photos from home to show him.
So I would suggest taking a local with you, who can converse with the guy.
