If you have not topped it up since last year then it's unlikely it will still be valid....because they one had to be registered & two they do have a maximum period on them also (max 270 days total active time?)
I originally had a Simpati card & found both coverage & calls quite ok.
I now use a Pro XL card & find that good too.
