Although it is the rainy season it doesnt mean it will rain the whole time. Bali is known for its sun one minute and the heavens opening the next.
Its rare that it rains all day. You will find on the rainy days it can be hot and sunnny all morning then rain all afternoon or visa versa.
The only downside is if its raining in the evening you end up looking like a drowned rat by the time you get anywhere so come prepared with an umbrella
