These have probably been the wrong questions for this forum. The majority of the contributors are like myself, long time Baliophiles. I have not been put off going back to Bali by anything over the years, not elections, not Timor, not Sars, not the bombings, zilch, zip. I have too many local friends who suffer during these times and make a point of showing my support. Government warnings are posted for Indonesia (and Bali) when problems occur but not for the USA or Uk. Strange eh! Going back has nothing to do with advertising or anything like that. It just happens year after year. Oh yeah, I'm Australian & 49 years old.
