It was my post 2 weeks ago that alerted people of the dangers of Aqium gel. One of our party had it confiscated from their hand luggage on departure from bali. Customs then gave us a demonstration by pouring some on the floor and igniting it. They said nothing about Aqium Gel in our suitcase ,so I presume that the ban may only apply to your hand luggage. If you read the label on the bottle you will see that it contains 66% Ethanol and also has a highly inflamable warning on the back. I see no sense in chancing luck, so I will be seeking an alternative. I just caught the end of sky news on cable t.v and i think the U.K has just lifted a ban on liquids and hand gels in your hand luggage, so they must have had a similar ban on gels.
