I think it must depend what ferry you happen to get on... I went on the ferry three times last year, and only noticed the VIP class on the third trip. Perhaps the first two ferries didn't have a VIP class. It is worth asking though - it is so much better! The first ferry I had was particularly bad, with really hard orange chairs that were sooo uncomfortable to lie on, and it took over 5 hours. The second ferry wasa bit better, as the benches were a bit comfier to lie on, and it only took 4 and a hlf hours. The last one with the air con VIP cushioned chairs and music and an area to lie down topped the lot though! x
