Both the Padma and Mandira are beachfront at Central Legian, in the thick of it all; mandira a little gentler on the pocket, both quite high class.

At Padma St, where it gets to the beach, is a little drinks place called 'Made Tikus Kecil' where you'll see me most evenings having a Sunset Sip between 5.30 and Dark. A large, hairless Irishman with a cane, not really young, on 93rd trip to the Blessed Isle and willing to help anybody with local knowledge as required.

Mandira has a rear exit with steps to the beach which has the same set-up and we're sometimes there also, weather permitting as it will be the Monsoon Season when walls of water pour from the heavens from time to time.
