There are a few restaurants in Vila ... Ma Baker springs to mind also there is a nice Chinese restaurant too in the town. Don't know where your staying (we were at Iririki Island) as you get of the boat turn right and there are about 4-5 restaurants around there. Some face over the water and a pretty view.
Vanuatu IS a malarial country despite what some people say... otherwise they wouldn't have a malarial clinic on the island. But all that stuff makes me crook so didn't take anything. We sprayed our room before we went out go out with Mortein (can buy it there) We took 'Bushman plus 80% DEET' and we didn't get bitten once... it's brilliant stuff.
Great your on business so your not paying... it's pretty expensive we didn't have a meal under $100 (for 2)
Have a great time... have to say I think the people from Vanuatu are THE most nicest people I have ever met. They are truly wonderful. Hopefully, we will catch up with you at the BTF dinner in November.
