isnt as good as it used to be... the last few years it became such a "dive" because of drunks and unkept... however they have renovated and tried to revamp the place... its not as popular as it used to be...
We ate at Lau Pa Sat on 1st of september.. we had sate (medium serve about 20 sticks) , fish, nasi ayam... beers it cost about 200 Singapore dollars for the 4 of us.
There is another dish there called LA LA ..its like small clams in oyster sauce... i didnt eat it but the others loved it.
The satays arent as good as indonesian satays...
you should have visited East Coast Park, or a hawker centre on Cuppage Road (in near centrepoint orchard rd) and there's another good one behind the shopping centre called PARKWAY PARADE... yummo food... but Singapore has gotten soooo expensive ...
