Hi, first of all im not sure about any losmens in Semarang.. but my friend told me of a place called Elizabeth Hotel ..which is located near the Elizabeth Hospital in Semarang.. he said it cost about 100,000 per night or even less. If you need to ask anybody.. ask them if there are any HOTEL MELATI.. which are basically 1 star hotels in Indonesia.. and are really cheap :)

A couple of suggestions for Bandung area.. when u have time.. visit CIWIDEY area - lots of strawberry fields... and a not so well known "volcanic crater" and heaps of tea plantations as far as the eye can see and a lake up there also :)
Or you have Ciater hot water springs, and it will cost you about 25,000 to go for a swim...but dont go on a sunday.. toooo busy.. :) Nearby there is Tangkuban Perahu ...another volcanic crater and another 3 smaller ones in the same area... check that out also :)
A good resto (very famous) is called KAMPUNG DAUN near bandung... just ask your friends there, and they'll know where it is :)
