a family garden view room, a kiddy suite and an executive suite.

The executive suite was our favourite but it does cost quite a bit more.

Now that our kids are 3 and 6 we will probably stay in a family pool view room. I didn't want to be too close to the pool in the past as my little one loves water and I was concerned that if she could she the pool from the room she might "escape" and toddle straight to the pool.

The family garden view & family pool view rooms have got 2 singles & a king bed. The beds are basically all in a row. The kiddy suites have a king bed and a divded area which has got a set of bunk beds, a small TV and a playstation.

If you look at the bali dynasty website there is a map showing the location of all the different room types. It also shows the layouts/sizes of the rooms.

We use a babysitter at the dynasty called Moonie (real name monika). She is fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate recommending her. We 1st used her when my daugher was 18 months old and she was fantastic with her. From what others have said I think all the babysitters are good.

I've also heard good reports about the Patra, I have a friend that has stayed at both the dynasty and the patra. She said the patra was great execpt that it didn't have the same atmosphere as the dynasty. It just depends on what you like. I am very sociable and like to meet people so the patra wouldn't suit me, but if your a person that likes to keep a bit more to themsleves than I think the patra would be worth looking at. Apparantly the rooms at the patra are nicer and cheaper than the dynasty.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need anymore info.
