We took our PS2(not slimline) with us to Bali. It was 4 years old, so out of warranty anyway. We got H***** to do it, rang him up from our hotel. He picked it up and then we got it back the next day. His DVD shop was in Tuban, right at the end near the T intersection, on the way to the airport. It has worked fine ever since, been over a year now. Plays Bali copies as well as games bought in Aus. Also still plays movies, Bali copies & ones bopught in Aus. Cost $70AUS to buy chip and have it installed. Got it done at start of holiday so if any hassles may be able to get it rectified.
