we are also a family of 4 with 2 girls aged 7 and 9. We try and look for similar accommodation each year we go to Bali but can't stay away from the Melasti (old suite rooms). they are usually in blocks of 4 with 2 downstairs and verandah and 2 upstairs with verandahs looking out towards the beach.
They have separate sleeping areas for us and the kids and have a solid partition between each with sliding doors for privacy. Also plenty of room to store all that shopping especially for 4 people. Buffet breakfast is served overlooking legian beach and what better way to start the day!!!!!. they have 2 pools and lovely grounds and in great proximity to all the shopping and good restaurants. For a 3 star hotel it is good value for money.
We are going fro 13.5 nights in January with return airfares from Sydney, accommodation and free buffet breakfast included for $4378 for all of us!!! Bargain
