and they put us up at Hotel Jatra. It was fine, there was about 30 of us and what a fabulous time we had. Ended up on the roof at the pool with too many bintangs.
We all met at a very late dinner and introduced ourselves one by one until we got to this fella and he said Hi my name is Margaret. A real fun character... he went on to pass the coffee mug for donations as he was broke and couldn't afford to stay the last 24 hours lol.
They called us The garudas at the hotel.
They put on a big tour bus, on our way to airport Margaret yelled out STOP....he had left passport and ticket in hotel safe and we had to tuen back. No matter we were all singing here we go here we go here we go at that stage :)
Garuda gave us 1 free dinner and free brekkie and a 3 minute phone call home as well as a room each.
No money given, but i believe they used to.
We were still happy with another day in paradise and the credit card was used for extra shopping.
