If he really loves you, he should be prepared to let you have a holiday in Bali now and again, either with him, or on your own, without sulking for two months. If you normally spend all your time together, then when you came back from Bali, refreshed and happy, it should have been like a second honeymoon.
Maybe his problem is insecurity. If so, then he will not improve the relationship by going on like that.
Presumably, if he particularly wanted to go somewhere, then you would be prepared to fit in with his plans.
