Hi Far, we flew garuda from perth to bali in august and found it to be rather second rate compared to qantas.Audio didnt work on way over and no audio on the whole left hand side of plane on the way back.Planes appear to be rather old and have been told that garuda do not purchase new planes only planes that other airlines are upgrading from, dont know if thats true but didnt sound good to me.We choose garuda simply for the fact that we could still get teaghan on for childs fare (under 16) but Shane has said next time as its just us no way.Friends also flew garuda and were dissapointed that there was no kiddies activity packs.
