quite a few years ago & wouldn't believe me when I told him that everytime anyone from Oz called us on his Australian mobile that we also paid.Silly him didn't give our staff his Bali mobile number & they kept calling him on the Oz phone so he carried 2 phones around with him & then had a nice bill when he got back home & had to pay for both sides of the call! Naturally I said " I told you so"
Now the first thing he does after we set up with a Bali Sim card is to sms the staff & our family with his Bali phone number.
Another place that has Skype set up in Bali is the Bali Cyber Cafe.Their address is 9 Kompleks Sriwijaya,Jalan Patih Jelantik on the corner of Jalan Sriwijaya at Kuta.It's not far off Jalan Legian.if you go there ask for Haaris or Nina & say you are part of BTF.
Last trip we sent an sms to our daughter to go online at home while we were at Bali Cyber Cafe talking to Haaris & Nina & we all got to say hello to her via Skype & also see how our tribe of 4 footed babies were going ! Not sure if they really knew it was Mummy & Daddy talking to them though <LOL>
