Hi, I've just booked with Mida as well. She has requested my credit card and passport details( just to secure the bookinb) she will not be using the card to deduct payment
She has asked me to pay in cash on arrival. As I'm arriving very late in the evening she has agreed to pick up payment (in cash) the next day.
Normally when I give credit card details to overseas hotels or etc I contact my Credit union and let them know, I've given out these details and to whom, then I ask to be contacted if there are any transactions with the card .
When booking online, Most reputable hotels require these details (to secure bookings), due as Tina said to many last minute cancellations which will leave them out of pocket.
