Hi fransina, What type of room were you upgraded to at the Griya Santrian? I enjoyed the relaxation, the staff, and the feeling of security. I am going back at the end of November and have a cottage by the garden pool. Did they have a cultural performance while you were there? They had put them on hold in June. I missed the BBQ but will definitely try it this time. I also stayed at the Tegal Sari in June but was not able to try the cooking class as the chef/teacher was on holidays. Did you try their spa? Fantastic, Dayu was the best. I found the staff there probably the best and most helpful of all. Nothing was a problem and they were only too happy to drive you when you needed it. I had the wooden room (4 poster bed) next to the exercise area. In June this whole area was flooded one day with my path underwater, such a hoot. I really enjoyed your JBR as I was able to relive my June holiday. Thank you, Cheers, Stormy
