Giving her my details 6 weeks before I arrive. I have no problems in doing that.
What I normally do though, after I have sent this information, is I contact my credit card company and let them know that I'm allowing an organization access to my credit card, and that there is to be no activity on the card(it's just to secure a booking) .All reputable hotels in Bali now ask for these details, (card & passport).
