Officially, it's been game over for Garuda and Adelaide since the end of August. Sad but true. Travel-Agent-talk is that the Eastern States and Perth are gangbusters for Bali and Adelaide has barely managed double figures on many flights. I can't comment on Perth but I'll get to see for myself as I'm going to Bali on the 28th out of Melbourne...that's, of course, after we stop off in Sydney! I should be used to Bus-stop Airlines East by then though because I would have had some orientation flying Bali-or-bust-via-Virgin from Adelaide the night before. Add $300+ for the domestic leg and around the same again for Hotel accomodation at the airport and all of sudden Bali isn't looking all that flash to people in the corridor East of Perth and West of Melbourne :) There is some talk that Garuda will reinstate Adelaide from April 07 but by then the disenfranchised may well have found somewhere new.
