of the sort. It still remains the holy grail of secrecy the whole thing. I get a steady stream of industry people asking me what if anything is going on.

I doubt there is an agent in this country who wouldn't welcome ANY offer they could pass on to the passengers who got dudded. I dream of being able to offer that to the people I dealt with and they regularly comment that while the money would be the first preference alternatively a free seat would be far better than nothing.

I wonder how they will sort out the tax side of things though... Will the taxes paid at the time still be valid or will new tickets carry a new tax debt??? It's a mess to be sure and our governing bodies have no decent rules in place to protect anyone.

I will be very surpised to see these potentially free replacement tickets be provided in a way that they could be sold to anybody but the original ticket holder. Would be nice but I wouldn't get your hopes up. This would further complicate things at a time they'll be looking for a fresh and streamlined start over.

If they are smart they will start by listening to the passengers not so called Agent Groups??? The group I'm thinking of doesn't give a stuff about Bali unless it's making buckets of easy money for them and are happy to send people in any other direction. Of course they don't want to give away free tickets it might mean some double handling and customer service.

Happy Travels
