I have just come back from living and working in Bali for the last 12 months. What I thought was going to best the best experience of my life turned out to be the worst. My friend and I worked for an Australian run company and the mangement was terrible, we recieved a low pay and were treated and spoken to extremly rudely. Also our personal emails and msn messages were read behind our backs. And as we resigned because of the bad conditions my friend was not allowed out of the country until she paid the working visa back, which was fair enough but the amount requested was way over what was due. After I had left this company I met with other expats who had worked for this company and all had the same bad experiences. So please be careful and read the contract carefully because I would not like what happened to my friend and I to happen to anyone else.
