We stayed at the Niksoma for 2 weeks last year. It is a fabulous hotel. The staff are very friendly and always remember who you are. We had two kids in adjoining room and they said it was best place we'd stayed at in Bali - we've been 7 times. Don't get transfers included as a taksi from the airport will take about 3-4 people comfortably and will only set you back 50,000rupiah (about $7.50). Set rate from airport to Legian. We are off again next week and couldn't get a suite room at the Niksoma, darn! The pools are great, always very clean - the breakfast is fantastic with the best setting looking out towards the ocean. I would highly recommend it. We have half price cocktails around the pool every evening before we went off to dinner. Close to everything and if not a taksi is always there. The laundry above Red Line near the entrance of Niksoma was really cheap and cleaned everything wonderfully - Almas jewellery near the entrance again was fantastic, made everything I wanted and included earrings for nothing!
