Yes, we bought a camera at Harvey Norman in Darwin (a couple of weeks prior to departure)then took receipt to tax refund counter in international section of airport. They refunded us but would not give cash, they want to refund to bank account so make sure you take those details. You get percenage back of the price over $300.
