Our first Bali experience - on arrival.. the hot, humid heat... the all very new smell... the exhilaration of our first O.S. trip... the excitement of what's ahead.
Or, our trip to Kintamani via Ubud.... the swaying palms, the impending storm gathering over breathtakingly scenic rice paddies.
Or,Kuta beach at sunset... the golden hues of a hot summer day forgotten, sinking into the sea.... young beach soccer players silhouetted against the darkened sky...
Or, the shock and tears as I watched the devastation of all too recent events.
Or, the smiles on those bronzed faces as we return time and time again....
