took my kids last year, they had, had typhoid & hep A at school just previously, but was not on my list of things to do before that, as long as you all have tetanus for monkey bites etc. I was the only one that was due to have one the following year BEFORE travel, as i'm a absolute idiot when it comes to needles, went & had one, then got bit by a spider in the bed, came back in huge welts/sores on my left leg, thankfully i thought i'd had the tet' needle, but no doc on return gave me a double dose & a big dose of antis' as well, not putting you off at all, just take precautions as you would anywhere,my kids are so pi**ed off there not coming this trip, Go & have a ball, your kids will love the experience..happy times..max
