The Bike project was one that a lot of Forumites got involved in. It should've been finalised two years ago but, for a number of reasons, just didn't happen like it was planned.
We did a similar project in Thailand beforehand which was far bigger & it went smoothly. Bali is always different.
The Bali bikes were made in Indonesia, but to our reqirements. That way there is also a boost for the economy & relieves the Customs problems.
Judging by the number of our schoolkids getting bikes from their sponsors, I think the Bali Bike Industry must be experiencing good trade times.
