I stayed in the Resor until 5 days ago. Stayed there for 8 days. The resort is in a great location (next to KuDeTa) and has large well kept grounds. There are 2 swimming pools. One medium and one small.

It is a bit difficult to rate this hotel, cos it is very cheap compared to its neighbours, but I found it to be overpriced. First of all, the place is a little run down. The shower switches from warm to cold to steaming hot to cold and back again without warning. Nothing they could do about it "old plumbing".

The staff is clueless, speaks very little English (apart from the hotel vocabulary), but is as always extremely friendly.

I will spare you some mistakes: DO NOT order any of the sandwiches or burgers from the hotel restaurant or room service. Their Indonesian food is good, but their Western stuff is really bad.

If you can, upgrade to a luxery room.

In the neighboorhood you will find a lot of very good, very expensive restaurants. A short, but very dark, walk will bring you to a row of restaurants, none of them I tried. You can walk on the beach to the Gado Gado (past the Sofitel, a hotel I would recommend) and walk up the road to find some nice places.

Have fun and remember: you probably did not pay more than US$ 70 per room, so keep smiling!
