We have stayed on a number of occasions at The Villas (part of the Prana Spa complex - next door to Chill) and have loved it every time. The staff are amazing, the villas themselves are gorgeous and have everything you need, and the complex is right opposite Bali Deli which is very handy if you're after a mid afternoon snack but don't feel like room service!
They are by no means cheap, but if you're looking for the privacy, personalised care and attention as well as the flexibility to cook your own meals for instance - a villa is definitely the way to go.
Depending on the age of your kids, a villa is also a much easier way to keep an eye on them whilst they're swimming too...
