Hello, yes i have just got back from bali and stayed at the samsara...i had 7 wonderful nights staying there...I contacted the hotel direct via email and got a room all inclusive of brekky too for $40 aussie! (room on my own)
The hotel is extremely clean and everything is new, new flatscreen tv's, new stainless steel fridges...All very smicko!
Its a very small hotel, and they were still doing work on the day spa at the hotel...There is not a 'fulltime' restaurant as of yet, they only do brekky...
It is run by a lovely woman named Hera, she is married to an aussie guy, they also run the bali garden hotel...
I found it to be very close knit, at most there was only 6-8 quests whilst i was there...I loved it, highly reccommend it...Its just off legian street, down a small alley, kinda tucked away (its only like 20 mts off legian street)...Its approx 50 mtrs up from poppies 2 or the bali monument(same side)...
The rooms are great with a inroom safe, there was no phone yet!
The pool is gorgeous, and they had a beautiful outside bed, complete with the big 4 poster setup...great to lay out on and relax and read...
