is the tailor our family have been using for along time. Many friends have been to him as well as many forumites & been very happy with his work. There are many posts in the archives about him.

He has many different fabric swatches to show you for men's suits & many magazines & brochures for styles to be chosen from.On average a man's suit with one pair of trousers costs about $100 & with 2 pair of trousers around $125.I have had a variety of ladies clothes made by him as well.He can copy from outfits you take with you,or work off a drawing or magazine picture.
He has recently gone out in business on his own.His shop is called Aristo brothers collection & it is in Three Brothers lane on the left hand side.As you are walking North on Jalan Padma Utara - the lane is just after The All Season Hotel & before you get to the Bamboo Corner restaurant or the MBR.

If you wish to buy fabric yourself I would suggest going into Denpasar. There are heaps of fabric shops in Jalan Sulawesi which runs off Jalan Hasanudin, which is the street that runs along the side of the river by the Denpasar markets.Jalan Sulawesi is the street that runs along the top end of the market.Any taxi or driver will know it.Just watch out when you get out of the taxi that someone doesn't latch onto you & try & steer you towards shops that they will get commisssion at.Be really firm if they try to follow you.

Prices vary a lot depending on what sort of material you buy & you can also bargain.I just wander up & down the streets until I find what I am looking for.The small shops are packed wall to wall with many beautiful fabrics. There is also Duta Silk at Matahari's in Denpasar,Alta Moda at the Kuta Galleria & Wira's on Jalan Raya Kuta.I prefer going into Denpasar to the many smaller stores in Jalan Sulawesi because I feel I can see a wider range of fabrics & buy at better prices.
