A day at Waterbom.................
Another fantastic day was had by all as our 2 families got together and played to our hearts content.
Had to have a go on the new Boomerang slide and boy I was petrified but it was great fun too.Only did it the once as that was enough though.Kids went on it over and over.Hardly any aussies here today, no more than a few really.Many asians and a few europeans.Good to see everyone enjoys their day at waterbom.
Friend and I enjoyed a 2 for 1 spa treatment which was lovely as the environment is so relaxing but the staff seemed a little lacking in experience and we both felt they were following each others leads.The music they played was like a noises of the forrest and halfway through there was a thunderstorm which made me jump as it sounded so loud I didnt know what it was !!
Stopped off at Matahari on the way home and son got 2 gameboy games and daughter got 2 pr of jeans from Armani shop.One pr are Dolce and Gabana and one Versace and they were on sale for 75.000 each !!!
Back to the hotel and got donations together and took them around to Ricky's.We had been down to Susi and sammi's on the beach and met Scully who told us Smudge had been unwell again and hence he wasnt out and about so I told her we would take our donations ther and he would be able to get them from there.
We went ot lemongrass Thai in Seminyak tonight and it was dissapointing for us.I had heard good reports but one of our meals was really bad with very floury prawns which I refused ti eat for fear of getting sick.My sons Pad Thai was very bland too.The staff were very nice and I did tell them about the prawns so they would know for future costomers.I felt they couldnt have been fresh !!?
Walked home and found a lovely pr of black linen oants for me on the way.
Have also bought some lovely beaded necklaces at Almas Enterprises in Jln Padma Utara.Fixed price and they string them for you.
