My husband went to one in Candi Dasa. Completely inexperienced he and i did not know the correct procedure is to have quite a few hours instruction in a swimming pool first.
He was taken straight to a dive site and given one hour's instruction in the sea before taking a deep dive in waters we now know to be for experienced divers only.
Another completely different dive school in Candi Dasa did same thing to a tourist we met up with during our stay.
I have heard since that both dive schools put my husband and other tourist in real danger.
