Booked for 9 nights but stayed 1. We had a mob of yobbo's staying on the floor above in 2 rooms. They must have had a night out on the terps and got home about 3:00 am. It sounded like they were trying to wreck the rooms above. This went on 'til 6:00 am. Security could not quiet the cretins down, as you would expect from the very polite Balinese. Otherwise the rooms were good (twin suites) bordering on 3 star accom. Nice looking pools and open gardens. Place looked a bit upmarket, but rooms were cheap US$34 per night. Could have moved to another room but opted for the quietness of the Camplung Mas, which I booked that morning and never regretted the move. If you are staying at the Masa Inn, do not pay anything up front. They won't push you for upfront payment either. It might be ok for you if you can put up with cretins who don't give a rat's about anyone else's peace.
