to Melasti (29 times I think!) we used Mr Ketut whenever he was available. He is easy going, fun to be with and loves a laugh. We used to pay him 30,000 per hour just local driving, 150,000 to Uluwatu, 250,000 to Kintamani, and 300,000 for a round trip to Singaraja and back. On all trips, we offered lunch, drinks and also accommodation if we went overnight.When we had our own house there, we engaged him for a daily rate of 150,000 regardless of whether we used him or not. I have not been in Bali for about 2 years, and I know everything has gone up, so a fair calculation might be to add 50,000 to all the above prices, and 10,000 to the 'hourly' rate.
