it came in handy at restaurants and shopping centers for our son to sleep. He is now 3 and we still take it with us as we tend to do alot of walking and his little legs get a bit tired. The paths are a bit rough and up and down but they have improved alot and there seem to be less open drains to have to dodge. With the heat we also found that our son got a heat rash when we were holding him but he was fine in the stroller. I have seen alot of people with the babies in slings etc walking around Bali which is another option.
From memory as a little baby our son had a luggage allowance of his own of 10kg and 1 x pram. This was over and above what we were allowed.
