This morning we taxi'd up to La Lucciola for a yummy breakfast.Security was pretty tight even for that hour of the morning.I had the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs MMMM, we sort of shared a sweet tooth braekfast too and the caramalised bananas were to die for !! Cost about 210,000.
Bought some DVD's on the way home ( as you do !!) and hit the pool for some R&R.Later hubby watched the footy and daughter and I walked up the beach road to Melasti St and looked at bags for the daughter. Many to choose from but she couldnt decide !!
Went back to see Yosef at Brisbane Tailors and they can make her bathers so it was a case of lots of measuring because they are an unusual style with a large scooped out section on one side.He quoted 200.000 to make them and I thought that was really reasonable so didnt bother trying to bargain.Back tomorow to re-fit.
Hubby and I got a taxi to Chill Spa in Jln Kunti Seminyak to find they were fully booked so took a card to book for tomorrow.Back to Melasti Spa for a reflexology session which cost 121,000 and was pretty good but unfortunately when you have been spoilt at CHILL its hard to go back.I didnt like the fact that I could feel the oil on the sarong I was lying on from all the massages before me UUGGHH.The other thing with Melasti is they tend to overbook and keep you waiting instead of saying they cant squeeze you in !! We finally got out at 6.25pm.
Dinner tonight was the Gateway to India in Seminyak where we met our friends staying at the Pelangi in Seminyak. They have been to Nusa Dua and Ubud on their first trip and have done so much its not funny, made me tired just listening to them but they are already planning next years trip so they are also hooked !!
The meal was nice at Gateway but ai wouldnt rave about it.We had the buffet which was 50,000 each but they kept running out and there werent that many people there.
OOPs our luch today was at the Coffee Shop on Jln Padma Utara and it was really good.Daughter had Mie Goreng and I had the Chicken satays and they were devine !! Friendly staff too.Loud opinionated middle aged male sat out front drinking bintang after bintang though while we were there.Dont get me wrong I like a drink too but some of us tourists are embarrassing to listen to.He wasnt aussie in this case but also saw a few of us like this one !!
