Go down to the beach at the Ramada and look to your left. You will see the Pantai Restaurant jutting out onto the beach. Food is quite good and the ambience at dinner is worth a million.
Walk past the Pantai to the Balihai Resort and just up the street to the left (Wana Segara) you will find the SA Cafe on your right, up further nearer the corner with the roundabout there is the Lotus (Thai) and around the corner to the left, leading back to the Ramada, is the Dewi Sri. It looks a bit like a converted badminton hall but the fish are kept in tanks by the footpath and will come to your table about as fresh as you can get unless you're a shark and catch your own. Usually frequented by the local Japanese who know good fish!
While you're on the beach find Ibu Wayan for a massage if you like them firm or Mistri if you want to relax. Lisa will give you a great nail job too. Adi will sell you sarongs and Monica has beads and bling. A team of wonderful women, all deserving of support.
