Hi Ryan
We stayed at the Ramada Bintang in Oct 06. We were about halfway along the block on the top floor. While we couldn't see the pool, it was only a quick walk to it.
We ate at Mini, just over the road. They have some great seafood out the front in the freezers and we treated ourselves to lobster on our last night there. They have a great range of Indonesian food, and the staff are very friendly. Also spent a couple of nights hanging out at the bar there. It was pretty quite when we went, as it was only a couple of weeks after the second bombings. The place looks like it can seat about 100 people, but there were never more than 10 dining there at once. Hope things are a bit busier there now!
