There is a tailor next to (or attached) to Mr Grumpys on the main drag. He speaks very good english.
For shopping just jump on the local bemo to Amlapura and ask for the markets. Cost is 8000rp each for us westeners. There is also a Hardys store there just around the corner from the markets, ask for directions. App. 500m
