we had chalk cross's on our luggage last year, they were removed from the carousel by customs BEFORE we had chance to grab them, we were escorted to a table area where several very official customs came over, we were asked if these were our cases, we said yes, then asked "why so heavy ?" we just explained nicely that they were full of clothes, toys etc. for the balinese children and we were told just to go on ahead,didnt have to open anything..but that is exactly what they would have found, this year i plan to even iy out better, hope this helps, max p.s. great jbr bony !!
