You are correct.Aristo has left Merry's Collection & as of July 1st officially opened his own business but it was already in operation a while before this.The new shop is called Aristo brothers Collection & is in Three brothers lane,which is the lane that runs down the side of the All Seasons Hotel - which is in Jalan Padma Utara.If you are walking North & get as far as the MBR you have gone too far.The lane is just before you get to Bamboo corner restaurant.The shop is on the left side & right next door to Brisbane tailors,who Aristo is friends with.
Mr Merry,the owner of Merrys Collection was sad to see Aristo leave but understood why he wanted to & they are still friends.Aristo has his own staff in the shop & but many of the tailors who will be doing the sewing of clothes,making of leather jackets,making shoes ,handbags etc will be the same people as have been used by Mr Merry.The prices will remain much the same or maybe even a tad lower.As time progresses Aristo intends to source fabrics & leather at better prices by buying in bulk.Depending on how quickly the business develops he is considering he may also rent the vacant shop next door.
I have already had items made by the new shop & have been very happy with the way everything turned out.Aristo will still be making clothes to his own designs,able to copy from magazines or drawings,or copy items that you take with you.
