After 20 trips to this fun filled Isle, I thought bugger it I'll have a go at a jbr. left syd with AA & returned with Qantas, no probs with voa paid with $AUD, about 45 mins for immigration & customs, made the trip to the All Seasons Resort in legian, we always stay at the Puri Raja Hotel, but being under renovation we chose the All Seasons, we have stayed at this hotel twice this year 1st time in march in a superior room, this time we opted for the deluxe room on the ground floor & it's well worth the extra $$ the rooms are great especially the out door shower, the pool would have to be the coldest in Bali..!! Up to Kevin shop opposite the Puri Raja for supplies, organise the bike from chit chat in JL Rum Jungle, then over to Bamboo Cnr for quiet a few Arrak Watermelons. Only had 1 day of showers when we went over to Geger beach at nusa dua, the best rate rate we got was RP6825 a lot more tourists then in march mostly euros & asia plus it was a month of indo school holidays as well, had breakfast most mornings at the indo national, dinner at the hot mango (courtyard hotel) a favourite, la luciolas(once every 3 years...??) nice venue, nice service but very very overated, Zanzibar, Rama garden, Padma Club & a variety of small warungs, slipped up to Sukawati markets for a day, in our opinion they are the best markets in bali, used our old mate Magnum to take us there, also up to Bedugal( bloody freezing)& Ubud markets, a bit to far on the bike maybe ok if we where still in our teens, our favourite spa is the MBR,
I know everyone has their favourite spa, Rest, hotel, beach & I guess, money changer & that's what keeps us coming back to Bali,
Cheers.
