Our family of 4 (2 adults & 2 kids 11 & 8) set off for Bali trip No 5 for adults No 2 for kids. After staying at Bali Mandira last September we looked for something a little cheaper and more social. After arriving in Denpasar we went to Candi Dasa (Candi Beach Resort - Beautiful) for 2 nights our driver suggested Tulumben for snorkelling at the ship wreak, definately a must do. After our 2 relaxing days we stayed at Melasti Beach Resort for 12 nights, great place we had room 202 in the old section we asked to be moved from the new section on advice from another fellow traveller great size room upstairs kids sleeping area has a door that can be partitioned off, great for a little privacy. As reported breakfast gets a little boring, other than that resort great, some restaurants close by worth trying Seaside, Flying Piano, Poco Loco, Legian Snacks (cheap good food if your after a good english speaking driver with a great sense of humor ask for Bobbie @ Legian Snacks) MBR spa worth trying we were there last 2 weeks in June and they had 50% off all spa treatments. Good social pool in the old section, rooms clean would definately stay there again. Madly saving to go back next year.
