We visited out 2 sponsor kids at their school and took books, pencils, rulers etc., some bought in Oz when Coles had exercise books for 1cent and some things bought in Macro. We purchased enough for the whole class and just gave our 2 kids a special pencil case and other items, but not too much to make the other kids jealous and feel left out. We also took chocolate milk poppers, biscuits etc., for the whole class to enjoy. They repaid us with beautiful smiles and songs. If you are meeting the family away form the school the suggestion by Spudzilla is spot on.
